Your health is our first priority! The following precautions have been put in place to assure your safety:

Leave the outer door open to increase airflow through our facility.
Installation of physical barriers (e.g., glass or plastic windows) at reception areas to limit close contact between personnel and patients.
Removal of toys, magazines, and all high touch objects from the waiting room that cannot be regularly cleaned & frequently disinfect surfaces being touched.
Ensure that everyone has their own face covering (as it is mandatory by state law), or provide a face covering if a patient does not have one. We make sure that everyone entering the dental healthcare facility is being screened for fever and symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or exposure to others with SARS-CoV02 infection.
Document absence of symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
Take patient temperatures upon entering the office. Fever is either measured temperature ≥100.0°F or subjective fever.
Ask patients if they have been advised to self-quarantine because of exposure to someone with SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Patients may opt to wait in a personal vehicle or outside the dental facility where they can be contacted by a mobile phone when it is their turn for dental care, we now call this our virtual waiting room.
Limit visitors to the facility to those essential for the patient’s physical or emotional well-being and care (e.g., care partner, parent).
Practice social distancing.
As always, constant hand washing and fresh gloves between patients.
